pull up their roster you'll see twice the athletes that Mayfield has

And you can tell by a picture who is an athlete and who is not?

Aww come on boys there's nothing wrong with a little banter back in forth in this politically correct world.. we can shake hands on Saturday. .lol. this rain is now 100% at game time and is kinda getting to the point of worth talking about.. this year has desales played in the rain on a grass field an if so against who.. this deff is going to even this game up an help take our passing game outta the equation..
it rained when they played us. They started off slow so did we but they got going late in the first . And when they got going there was no stopping them.
Haha, well, it is deer season.

I hear there is some AWESOME rabbit hunting in your area. I may have to make a second trip sometime.

We will next year boy it will make war memorial look like the trashy trailer park you call home

Come on, ColtsBy90....no need for all that.

Desales played Caldwell in the state semi finals in 2012. It was coach Davis' first year. I was on the team. We were down 31-7 at half in a 3-4 defense. Switched to our normal defense which was a 4-3 in the second half and the final score was 43-31. Safe to say desales has stuck with the 4-3 since then and has been AWESOME.

FYI - that loss was Coach Davis' ONLY playoff loss as the head coach. In his 4th year, he is 16-1 in the playoffs. We might get outplayed, but we won't be outcoached.

I must admit' date=' I am impressed. While we were beating Williamsburg, you were beating a team that finished 8-6 in 2013, and 10-5 in 2014. Murray had you guys beat last year, and the zebras took it away. That watered down 2A you have been playing the last two years is gone. As one of the colts fans said, we welcome you to come play "big boy" football this Friday night.[/quote']

I try to stick to the facts on here and stay away from all of the hyperbole. That being said, I'm not sure what you read or heard about the Murray game last year, but we never trailed. I agree they got screwed on the call, but that was in the first quarter. Their only score came on a Hail Mary on 4th and 30-something. To "have us beat," I think they would have had to actually be ahead at some point during the game.

On that same night against NH you passed for 0 yrds an gave up 180yrds rushing to NH they were 2of12 passing for 8 yrds.. what I was getting at, is if yall passed or had to defend it in the rain an the anwser is no.. there obviously was no point when u were controlling the game from the ground.. we're there any other rain games on grass field.?

I hate that forecast! Yes, we played Holy Cross in the rain and North Hardin. Seems like some showers occurred during another game or two, but those two were played in downpours. Regarding the passing yards against North Hardin, we played that game without our starting QB, who was injured in the Fern Creek game. Our back-up QB is a great runner, so that is how he was used. Plus, we scored on the first play from scrimmage and nearly every possession of the first half. There was never a need to pass. I can't recall the passing stats against Holy Cross.

I've read all of this and pretty much stayed out of it. I would say the DS fans are by far the cockiest posters on here. One thing I will say is that DS has had NO coaching staff of Mayfield's caliber war gaming against them. I will say coaching makes the difference in this one as does the home field advantage, it usually always does with Mayfield.

I'm glad you beat Murray.

I love seeing mayfield fans talk about the past. The games you won in 1910 should help you guys win the game Friday get real. 1A is definitely inferior to the teams desales has played last few years in 2a and out of 2a. I mean they played Williamsburg last two years in state championship. The past is over and the present and future is here. Mayfield is a juggernaut no longer. Desales is here and isn't going away anytime soon. This semi final game will be tougher than their 3 straight championship games

Lol, thanks for twisting my words, I only stated how long Mayfield has been playing to show that we could have even more championships had there been championships back then. I would put Beechwood up against any team in 2A year in, year out.

Were two of DS TDs against CAL a special teams TD and a Pick 6?

Only a pick six. No special teams TD

So the forecast is rain? Does this mean we now have to endure 3 days of DeSales fans bragging about how the rain is different in 2A than it was in 1A and/or that they are more ready for rain because they are used to the tough Louisville rains?

Pot calling the kettle black. I love it.

Yes, there are some great places to hunt rabbit, I grew up around it with my Dad. The areas up around Wickliffe are the best it seems, where the swamp rabbit live, those are the tastiest things I have ever eaten.
