Finally got all the details worked out on this and just had to share.

I'm taking my oldest to Seattle this weekend for an experience of a lifetime. We will land in Seattle on Saturday afternoon and do a little tourism when we get there. I'm thinking Fish Market, Space Needle, etc.

Then on Sunday, we are having brunch at Century Link Field from 10:30-11:30, then at noon we are meeting Warren Moon to go onto the field! Moon's agency called Sports1Marketing is then letting us have 2 seats in the club level for the Seahawks/49er's game.

It's going to be an awesome trip! It's going to be a lot, but I think it will be an experience he'll never forget.

I'll take some pictures and try to post sometime next week.

That sounds fabulous! Have a great time!

My niece is moving to Seattle after she gets married in December. She is out there very frequently visiting her fiance' who has already moved. She absolutely loves it!

That sounds awesome! We took a family trip to Seattle several years ago & enjoyed it. We did the boat tour of Puget Sound, walked around the Market, went to the top of the Space Needle & went to a music museum very close to the Needle. We also went to a Mariners game & drove up to Vancouver for a day. Very cool memories, and beautiful part of the country.

Been to Seattle twice. I'm not much of a big city guy, but I really enjoyed my trips there, especially my 2nd one. We still talk about the breakfast we had our last morning there leaving from a work conference (2nd trip). Little restaurant up stairs at the fish market area. Seafood omelets (to die for), Tully's coffee, sun coming up...man it was almost perfect.

Been to Seattle many times. Pike Place Market is always crowded with tourists, and parking downtown can be problematic. (Some of the lots near the Seahawks stadium charge $125 on game day.) Next time you're out there (in summer), rent a car and tour the Olympic Peninsula -- northernmost rain forests on earth, Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge.

Sounds great!

Daughter-in-law is from a small town on Whidbey Island, in the Sound. She met my son while he was getting his PhD at the University of Washington. They got married in her hometown of Freeland. Beautiful area. We spent all our time there on the island, so didn't get to spend time in the city.
