Being dependent on someone else completing the portion of a project in front of me, so that I may then complete my work. Especially when you know they aren't being productive. I am hyper, panther in the cage. I hate down time.

My father-in-law is your UPS counterpart...late 70s New Cath grad, career UPS driver. He says rain like today's sucks, but but it's the real cold that is the absolute worst.

Thinking back to when I wasn't a man of leisure and had to get up and roll out every morning.

The one thing I hated about my job that was weather related was dealing with 40-60 shipping containers full of Lay-a-ways behind the store in the rain, cold, snow and ice. It always seemed to be the coldest, the week that Lay-a-ways were due to be picked up for Christmas.

Excessive paperwork piled on to the work that I'm already doing. I never feel like I'm truly caught up. (Much of it has to do with being in my final semester of grad school and dealing with the KTIP)

Also, when I catch crap at work, it's usually from a 12 year old. So there is that too.:lol2:

The last couple weeks since my job changed, it's definitely getting up at 6 or 6:30 a.m.

For the past 13 years, I've been doing most of my work at night, and often well after midnight. I really, really hate mornings. But I seem to be adjusting.

I know, right? You'd think I was 99 instead of just 39 (apologies to Jack Benny). I did get 9 hours in last night, and I got enough done in advance today to where Thursday won't be a killer. Might even sleep in until 7:30. :ohbrother:
