They had played together since they were little kids. Amazing. Maybe some truth to the rumor that Smith will declare for the draft, leaving Bam to fend for himself next season.

It's not Harry Giles but a very nice consolation prize. I like how he fits in with SKJ and Gabriel, all three bring different things to the table. Most impressive thing Bam will bring is that raw power and athleticism, should be a monster in Cal's system. Pulling boards, finishing lobs, and shattering rims on tip dunks. Cal's goal of having one big long and athletic team is coming together. He says he would like to play "small ball" style with 6'9''-6'10'' players, all a part of his new position less approach. You can see this in the players he was focused on in this class. If you can get Fox and Monk in the back court at around 6'4''-6'5'' then have everyone else around them at 6'9" + then this is going to be a super long and rangy athletic team.
