Top ranked Beechwood had no trouble with annual playoff rival Frankfort last week. The Tigers did suffer a loss as RB Ethan Stringer was injured on the first series of the game and did not play the rest of the night. The Tigers still won handily without him. Holy Cross looked like they were going to get just as big a win as Beechwood did but district rival Ky. Country Day fought back to a one TD loss against Holy Cross. Score comparisons point to Beechwood being a 2 TD favorite in this one. Will the loss of Stringer give Holy Cross an opportunity to get the upset in this one? Are the Tigers still too much for Holy Cross even if Stringer doesn't play? What is the scouting report and game plan for victory for each team?

How come Beechwood doesn't post stats?

What does the schedule look like for next year?

Does Beechwood usually do two year contracts or four.

Can anyone confirm that?

Well that is 1 kid confirmed. Now to see if Stringer is going to play..

How is life in Beechwood land going? Any good news or bad?

How do you know Russellville or any other team won't be a thorn in Beechwoods side?

Has Beechwood been involved in any 7 on 7s.

Has the Combs kid decided to come back out or still staying with the decision not to play?

Why would I wish? I'm asking a legit question here.

For the above reasons (and that is a very small sampling) ... no one from Beechwood who actually knows .... is going to tell you when Stringer is coming back.

It is certainly your right to ask questions ... but that doesn't mean anyone from Beechwood would/should share information regarding a player who left the game with any injury. No offense ... all business.

I think we all expected to see Ethan jump right up and get back in the game Friday. It was just a couple of weeks ago that he was helped off the field and it looked bad. A couple of drives later he was back in and ripped off a 70 yarder for a TD on his first carry back in. #17 has run harder this year than I have ever seen him. He does not give in easily and that might make him more vulnerable to injury. He seems on a mission and if any player has the will to get back in the line-up and contribute it is Ethan. Ethan states that he will be fine and not to worry about him. If he is sidelined at all he will be right there making sure every Tiger lays it all out on the field. And a big congrats to Ethan and fellow Tiger baseballer Brayden Combs who both signed their D1 letters of intent.
