Kinda funny. Both schools are off of a Dixie Highway.

Provincial thing, I guess. I did use "down" in my description. Beechwood could fairly be called "up" off Dixie Hwy. Holy Cross is right on Dixie in L'ville.

For the above reasons (and that is a very small sampling) ... no one from Beechwood who actually knows .... is going to tell you when Stringer is coming back.

It is certainly your right to ask questions ... but that doesn't mean anyone from Beechwood would/should share information regarding a player who left the game with any injury. No offense ... all business.

You guys have a thing or something?

I agree. I hate to see any kid get hurt and that's why I ask especially if they are seniors. I hate to see things happen late in the season that could hurt a teams chances at advancing further in the playoffs.

We'd have known which Dixie Highway you were talking about if you had said "just past the adult store.":lol2:

Which one? Godfather 6, 7 or 8?

I'm not sure what the name is, but it's attached to a motel. I think they offer a Jacuzzi suite if any Tiger faithful are planning on staying the night.

The set up looks exactly how you would imagine.

Lots of options on that stretch of Dixie. A guy could get in big trouble with his girlfriend/wife if he isn't careful.

I worry about the Tigers in this one. IMO they are 3 TDs better, and if this game was at BW on the turf they would be fine. This would be a game that the downhill bruising style of Ethan would be on full display. Justice is really good, but completely different. He's shifty and cat quick, but on a grass field thats in suspect shape in late November will he be as effective? Who will be the RB on 3rd and 3, a situation all year Tiger fans have known was going to 17 and was almost a given first down? Soward maybe? He runs really hard. He's not gonna give you the breakaway threat, but he will give you 5. Slusher? That is an option, but takes away that threat on the outside.

In the end I think the D stands strong and Tigers win.

Let's not discount the running ability of Kyle Fieger in short yardage situations. You might see some designed plays to take advantage of this. You might see some Wildcat as well and leveraging a good tight end always helps when you need possession plays. I also like young James Davis's explosiveness out of the backfield. He is green but it might keep the HC D on their toes with another capable back in there. Then again, this is all Xbox One stuff if Ethan is ready to go.

Agree. I wouldn't trade 2015 Kyle Fieger for any QB in the state. He is a great runner, but I think the coaches ask him to only run if he has to. I'm not familiar with James? JV player? Here's an idea. Logan Castleman was a great runner. He was moved to WR this year to get him on the field, but he has always played TB. Maybe he sees some carries? He's the best freshman football player I can remember, and above all he's got the mentality. He's never seemed like the stage was too big for him. And again I agree. I'm sure we aren't going to hear anything out of the BW camp on Ethan. And rightfully so.

Many times in the past this playoff week for BW was a grass field in Frankfort, ky. on road with grass field has never stopped them in the past, don't see any issues now.

Don't know much about Louisville HC, I look for BW to prevail, but the loss of Stringer for at least this week will keep the contest close......IMO BW 21 LHC 14

Justice had over 100 yards on maybe 6-8 carries and scored three touchdowns. I think he is a very capable running back for Beechwood if Stringer does not play.

There are other options available for the Tigers also. Their offense will be fine with or without Stringer. In last week's Simon Kenton Ryle prediction thread people were talking about Dillon Powell being on crutches the week before and not playing. I think he played and had 150+ yards rushing in that game. Don't believe everything you see on here.

Well, I don't think LHC can keep up with the speed of Beechwood, but, what they typically do have is a big strong OL and a couple of hard nosed RBs that run behind them.. This will probably be the best OL the Tigers have faced since Cov Cath.. Plus, LHC always plays a tough schedule to get them prepared and no exception this year with Desales, OB Catholic, Western on their non district slate.. The D will struggle with Beechwoods mix of pass and run, but, if they can control the OL and move the chains, they can keep the game closer than most expect..
