Your logic works for me (the beat them head-to-head part of it anyway). Better record only means something if you play identical schedules, but considering that Highlands won the first game, and have dominated the series for umpteen years, yes, Highlands goes in as a prohibitive favorite.

 

Don't see them as a prohibitive favorite, not the way CCH was able to move the ball on them the first game. However, first game results, home field, and the current run all favor HHS, particularly if the CCH players let it get into their heads.

Wasn't cov-cath running game shut down in the second half in the first game? Also with this game not on TV I believe the team that can run a hurry up offence without mistakes and turnovers may have the better chance to win

That cuts down on the winners prep by a day and allows the other Finalist to scout the game live...seems as if they would make Cov Cath play somewhere with lights if they make the semi finals.

Even if I wanted to go my schedule wouldn't allow it. 4:00, wallow in self pity; 4:30, stare into the abyss; 5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one; 5:30, jazzercize; 6:30, dinner with me - I can't cancel that again; 7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing... I'm booked. Of course, if I bump the loathing to 9, I could still be done in time to lay in bed, stare at the ceiling and slip slowly into madness. But what would I wear?

Good call! The bogus defensive holding call that wiped out David Paul's pick six. I stand by my point. They've done just fine on the rare instances they beat Highlands at this level.
