Bearing in mind that there have generally been a smattering of other rushers each game, the fact that Murray & Hergott have each not played for one game, and just comparing the four guys you mentioned to one another:

 

Kendall: Rushed 177 times for a total of 1117 yards. He accounted for 48% of the rushing attempts and 54.1% of the rushing yards between the four.

 

Murray: Rushed 53 times for a total of 475 yards. He accounted for 14% of the rushing attempts and 23% of the rushing yards between the four.

 

Pulsfort: Rushed 58 times for a total of 357 yards. He accounted for 16% of the rushing attempts and 17.3% of the rushing yards between the four.

 

Hergott: Rushed 82 times for a total of 108 yards. He accounted for 22% of the rushing attempts and 5.2% of the rushing yards between the four.

JMO, Pulaski Co. is a better team and should win. That being said, in 2013 Collins should have asked for them to mail the 2nd place trophy and save gas money. Every computer model and poll on here had the Birds winning big. You gotta win it on the field not in the papers. Does North Laurel have enough talent to win? Yes. Do I think they will? No.

I believe they will play on Saturday since it's at Cov Cath. The game they played at Dixie was because of Cov Cath soccer.

In order for CCH to have a chance the passing game (QB and receiver - not just QB) are going to have to play well. Eliminate missed opportunities up top. Eliminate dropped passes. If HHS doesn't have to worry about the passing game CCH D is going to have to pitch a near shutout.

Way too many drops by the CCH receivers. That definitely needs to be reduced/eliminated for them to win this game

Your logic works for me (the beat them head-to-head part of it anyway). Better record only means something if you play identical schedules, but considering that Highlands won the first game, and have dominated the series for umpteen years, yes, Highlands goes in as a prohibitive favorite.
