It's such terribly offensive comment. It's not like only white people died on 9/11. It was an attack on our country.

By the way this single handly killed the college movement. Disrespect the victims of 9/11 is an easy way to make the entire country hate you.

A fine blue state.

Truth

It's not that it's a blue state, it's that it's a blue campus...it seems like every campus these days is a blue campus. I feel bad for level headed kids in college who must think they are in some sort of alternate reality while on campus...

Now this is hyperbole.

Talking with several college kids and one fresh graduate last night and their response was " we either need a new country or we need to find a place to move".

This was in response to the student demands and protests that are happening now, and the great moral decline of our country. See there is still some hope among young people.

You know, this board is a microcosm of what you are seeing out there. Read the disgruntled parent threads, not happy with coaching Jimmy is getting, speaking in front of the kids about these things, never holding Jimmy accountable. Maybe Jimmy is not that good. Nope. Mom and dad can't accept that. Time to go blame someone. This behavior shows their kids they think this is acceptable behavior. You reap what you sew.

It's called were weak. Americans have to sympathize with Muslims in order to feel safe from getting attacked. Look at the debate me and and 41047 are having. When in reality the feud has already started with Muslim extremist and it will never end. My child will endure it, as well as their children and so on.

Not at all...I think A LOT of kids at college, most actually, really want to go and learn something and not get caught up campus craziness that seems to be the norm at a lot of schools lately...

Maybe it is just me but college seems exactly like it was in the 90s when I was in school. We just have Facebook, Twitter and the 24/7 news cycle to show us what else happens on college campuses besides binge drinking, excessive marijuana use and consensual/non-consensual sex.

We really are. Society is weak now and has really gotten worse since the 2008 election.
