November 14, 201510 yr Author Maybe it is just me but college seems exactly like it was in the 90s when I was in school. We just have Facebook, Twitter and the 24/7 news cycle to show us what else happens on college campuses besides binge drinking, excessive marijuana use and consensual/non-consensual sex. Agreed. I don't think a majority of students regardless of the color of skin are participating or paying much attention to the protests on most campuses. There is always a small group of students who protest everything and when they see something like Missouri happen they capitalize when they see the media paying attention. A large majority of students are worrying about tests, term papers, parties coming up that weekend etc...
