Roskowski (sp) for X scares me with his speed.....kind of like those darn Montano's from years past (seems like there about 6 of them in a row and they all caught deep balls on T).

 

He is definitely a player that X needs to be creative in ways to get him the ball, especially in space.

For St. X to have a reasonable chance to win, they will need to generate in the neighborhood of 300 yards of offense (in any combination of run or pass), score touchdowns in the red zone, win (or at least tie) the turnover battle, limit big plays on defense, and win the special teams. From strictly a personnel standpoint, they are a bit of an underdog.

 

Do they have a chance to win? YES!

Will they? Thats why they lace the cleats up on Friday night!!!

I know tickets are available at Trinity 8am - 4pm through Friday. Everything is $10.00 General Admission and $5.00 for 10 years old and younger.

St X will have to throw the football, they will not be able to win if they strictly rely on the run. Trinity has the #1 run defense in the Khsaa, X will have throw & have success to loosen up that run defense in my opinion. Hope the weather stays as predicted which is 53 degrees with NO RAIN so both teams can perform at their best. Go Rocks!!

I think this one may become an "instant classic!" One of those games you would have hoped end in a tie!!!

 

Certainly one of the more diplomatic X vs. T playoff threads I've witnessed in awhile...

X should have a very good idea where the holes will be in secondary of T. X has to be able to run good routes and anticipate the opening, make them pay for being too well coached. It sounds crazy, but X can take advantage of T's well coached defense.

Kind of a "too disciplined for their own good" type thing? I.e. throw a little chaos at order.
