I hope X wins! Seeing how they are having a down year and all.

St. X is a threat, no doubt about it, but I have confidence in the Shamrocks. Trinity made some serious mistakes in the first match, but still eked out a win. If they play clean and play smart, they should win.

Even in a down year St. X will put more points on Trinity/Male than Simon Kenton will. Though, I'd be more concerned with Scott County than any of the Louisville teams were I you. Simon Kenton has to make past the semis before meeting them.

Would simply like to see this one in dry weather - no rain. Compliments to X for making the adjustments in the 2nd half of the first game - but, in all honesty, the only necessary adjustment was stacking the box and shutting down J Reed and the rushing attack. The passing game is just so limited when playing in the rain but everyone has to deal with it. In the event we see dry weather, look for the Rocks to get the ball deep down field. Woosley and the WR'S look to be in post season form.

 

Defense has and will be solid for the Rocks. Front 3 or 4 guys are really starting to click. Foos had a big game last time - I expect the same next Friday. Lowe and Lococo have been outstanding at LB positions. Overly impressed with our secondary right now. Sydnor is playing as good as any DB I've seen the past 3 years. And I haven't said anything about Rodjay Burns yet.

 

With all that said, most likely going to be a barn burner as usual.

X can't give up the big play. T is going to score, but they must drive it and not allow a big play to turn into multiple big plays.

 

Ridder has to take care of the football, giving T a short field will make for a long night for the Tigers.

Two things thay I hope have improved for both teams:

 

T - Fix the long snapping

 

X- Improve the offense.

 

If both have improved we should have a good game. Of course if both are still mediocre then we would probably still have a good game :lol2:

 

I see a 24-3 victory for the Rocks as a likely possibility. A close game is possible too, I just don't see the Tigers scoring much on the T defense.

Be careful what you wish for. If X is good enough to beat T, they can handle SK. I guess you should hope Male loses also.
