This is a member school issue, the schools want this round of the playoffs.

 

Maybe so but I still say that a team that hasn't won a regular season game shouldn't make the playoffs, especially when you have teams in other divisions that for no other reason then geography don't get in and have won games.

I am sure many of the schools have the best of intentions and others just have selfish coaches.

 

Either way, this round of the playoffs needs to go.

 

I'm not even accusing anyone of running up a score. Seneca was basically a JV team this year. They get nothing positive from this game tonight.

Too many classes, too many districts, too many teams making the playoffs, too many issues to overcome.

You realize that everyone doesn't make the playoffs, right? Only 1A and 6A have that distinction.

Then the losers who don't want to play just have to take one on the chin so the teams and players who do care get their chance.

 

Shame they couldn't have been left home if they didn't want to play. Kudos for those young men who put in the time and gave 100% no matter what. It's not always about winning a game, but it's always about winning in life.

Yes I realize there are a few schools that don't make it in but because of the nature of football there is only so much you can do in playoff schedule. That is not a good argument for eliminating a lot more teams from the playoffs.

I read the original as NO. 4 and not No #4 I was looking at it as an abbreviation thanks for pointing that out or I wouldn't have realized it.

We have 15 teams that got a win who many people think don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

 

There were several other games where the higher seed barely squeaked out the win.

 

Yea. But they beat teams that shouldn't be in either.
