J.T. Barrett arrested early this morning

Had he been 21 would he have passed the breathalyzer? Is over .08 considered a DUI?

He would have received the same charge.

...

Noles fan should probably abstain from this coversation.

So should UK fan

Because of the ease of OSU's schedule Urban SHOULD show how tough he is and how he's a changed man and suspend JT for two games. Wins the PR battle without worrying about losing a game.

Yet at least he suspended him for a game. Haven't seen Mark Stoops be as aggressive when his players get into trouble.

how many games were the UK players who were underage yet found to be in a over 21 bar suspended? Don't think they were drinking kool aide.

Just sayin for those that live in glass houses...

Now we see why Cardale got the job for so long.

OSU coaches didn't trust JT. This is NOT his first incident with the law.

In talking to a friend of one of the coaches JT is not liked by a large number of players in the lockerroom. They simply think he's not shown enough leadership and cannot be counted on to be ready.

It's obvious though Urban is still the same ol' Urban. Winning is the ONLY thing.

There are other incidents that haven't come to light yet.

I'd love to know the sources seeing how the players voted JT a captain.

Coaches don't trust him. Players don't like him. Yet he was elected captain? Do tell? I always love the " in talking to a friend of a friend" argument. Always holds a lot of weight. You are usually a fairly sound poster my man, but you are allowing your pent up Urban crush to cloud you here.

I remember several members talking about the UK incidents saying they wouldn't comment until all the facts come out, now those same members are the first to spread rumors about OSU players. Ridiculous.

Unfortunately it's par for the course for that fan base. Bury your head in the sand when it's your own, crucify without due process when it's not. Typical. Had a great argument last night at BWs with a die hard UK honk. His argument in Louisville case was Pitino is the CEO, had to know everything. I then asked if true, what's his opinion on the UMass and Memphis issues when his diety coach was there. Crickets.

To me it seems like someone is making a point to another poster that just throwing things out there for the heck of it goes both ways. The "in talking to a friend of one of the coach's" I think gives it a way. Wait till he talks about making a phone call to talk to UM to get to the bottom of it. That will be followed up with, "I could post a lot more" but out of respect I will not.

If he used emoji's it would just give it a way to easily. JMO

Now I am a huge UK fan, but football have always been OSU fan although I am also a UK football fan but in basketball there is only one team I root for and that is UK.

I'm always pretty unbiased when it comes to my teams and that is why I was really surprised to see someone's comments in here because he is usually pretty level headed and fair.

I look back at the UK football players incidents this off season and was pretty fair in my stance in the subject. But wrong is wrong and being underage in a bar is wrong also yet some think it was no big deal. Those players never got suspended.

Now JT is stupid and should be punished and he does get suspended a game yet the same folks who didn't think UKnomayers should have been in trouble are the first to say 1 game isn't enough for JT. It's ridiculous imo.

Don't crucify Urban until you clean your own house and that goes for Stoops.

Should have followed it up with, the UL incident was because of the actions of a UL staffer.

I hope that is what he's doing, and if it is I know who he is talking about, but if he isn't doing that then I'm speechless.

Suspension goes right along the lines of what the rest of the nation are doing.

This year Ok. State receiver had same thing one game suspension.

Arkansas tight end same thing in August one game

Pitt had two players including Tyler Boyd their star both only missed the opener.

Nick SABAN allowed Geno Smith the DB to return following a one week suspension.

Find an instance where the punishment is worse and then we can talk "light" punishment.

Sorry if that had been posted before in the thread I really don't care to look at the moment I'm at work. Thought I would point out what I saw.

You sure you don't have it mixed up? I heard JT was more of a vocal leader than Cardale and gives some speeches in the locker room.

This post couldn't be further from the truth. By your logic please explain why they chose JT over Cardale last year then? I'm glad your finally owning up to the Buckeye hater that you've pretended not to be for years.
