October 17, 201511 yr Lackluster first half for the Noles. Dominant second half. That second half is the best they have looked all season. Very encouraging.
October 17, 201511 yr Very nice second half by the Noles, Cook is brilliant even with hamstring issues. Dang Cards…, second year in a row busted by FSU – sigh.
October 17, 201511 yr Josh Harvey-Clemons and Devonte Fields might as well have stayed in Louisville for all the effort they gave this afternoon. That defensive performance made me sick.
October 17, 201511 yr Josh Harvey-Clemons and Devonte Fields might as well have stayed in Louisville for all the effort they gave this afternoon. That defensive performance made me sick. I watched Fields specifically a few times, wow is all I can say. His first step was to stand straight up. Very lazy effort all the way around
October 17, 201511 yr It sounds like Trey Marshall might be out a long time, maybe even the season. FSU had a very hard time on D in the first half after he went down.
October 18, 201511 yr Cards did a great job in the first half getting pressure...not sure what happened in the 2nd half I had to leave at the half and was shocked by this final score.
October 18, 201511 yr I did not see the game but caught snippets of it on radio and I thought I heard that 2 of UL's linebackers were out -- on by DQ and one by injury.
October 18, 201511 yr I did not see the game but caught snippets of it on radio and I thought I heard that 2 of UL's linebackers were out -- on by DQ and one by injury. Yes. Keith Kelsey I believe got hurt early in the second half and Keith Brown was ejected following a targeting penalty. Everything that possibly could have gone wrong defensive in the second half did so.
October 18, 201511 yr Very solid 2nd half for the Noles which is nice to see and hopefully something they can build on! Obviously, DC4 is the engine of that ship and if FSU is to beat Clemson and Florida Cook has to get 25 carries and Golson has to play like he did in the 2nd half! I love that even though this was supposed to be a "down year" "rebuilding year" they continue to win football games. With how Jimbo recruits I expect them to compete every year in the ACC even if they lose 8+ key contributors to the draft/graduation this past year
October 18, 201511 yr Author That second half is the best they have looked all season. Very encouraging. I'm still impressed at the fact Golson has yet to turn the ball over. Secondary still needs alot of work. Trey Marshall going down certainly doesn't help. I love the run D but don't let the other team pass. And of course, Cook was Cook, in the second half. Didn't get used much in the first half and I'm not sure why.
October 18, 201511 yr Author Also, Cook has ran for 955 yards this year, which is the most ever by an ACC back through six games and he's doing with a hamstring issue. But what's scary, is the fact that teams will still have to game plan for him next year! Him and Fournette next year will absolutely dominate college football again next season.
October 18, 201511 yr Didn't get to watch any of this one since I was on the road, but sounded like to me the effort in the 2nd half was poor, at best. Very disappointing.

Thats exactly what it looked like. After the first half I was worried. UL was getting constant pressure, controlling the FSU run game and had a lead. But it looked like a completely different team in the second half as UL didn't tackle real well and got hardly any pressure. UL could easily be a 5-1/4-2 team right now but they don't play complete games.
