Last year they had a chance to beat MSU when they were the #1 team in the country, Towles out played Prescott and the offense was explosive, the only hitch in last season was.. The defense couldn't tackle ANYONE. This season the defense seems to be better although they have struggled at times. I've got the Cats going into Starkville and leaving with a 21-17 victory!

I think it'll be a solid game, but I just can't see Kentucky going in to Starkville at night and leaving with a W. I'll take Mississippi State 27-20.

Bulldogs have not given up a TD in the 4th quarter this year.

You obviously can't blitz every play, but Uk's defense needs to bring pressure more than they did last week to speed up Dak's reads in both passing and running situations.

 

Matt Elam has to do a great job clogging up the middle. He either needs to learn how to play lower or lose about 50 pounds so he is more explosive and is able to bend his knees.

 

I keyed on Elam several plays in a row...zero push...zero movement of any kind. Just stood straight up at the snap, no forward movement or momentum of any kind.

Don't know what some of you are smoking, but Kentucky won't come close to winning in Starkville.

If I were a betting man I'd take Mississippi State minus the points all day long.

It's a Blackout in StarkVegas. When's the last time any school had a gimmick for a UK team? Not sure if they think this is a big game or they're hoping to increase the excitement to sell more tickets.

This game intrigues me because UK has been close the last two meetings. Dak will make his plays, because he's a very good football player, the key will be to limit other from making big time plays against them. For the offense, be consistent. If they can do that they will move the ball and produce points. It will be another tough game for UK, but it is a winnable game too.

Please...UK may not win the game, but they will produce enough points for keep it within striking distance. Miss St defense, at least their front 7, was one of the best in the SEC and UK was able to put up 31 points on them. What is there to say that they can't do the same thing this year? Dak will produce, but UK's defense is better than last year so it should be a close game.

UK's defense is scary bad at times. That's not a good thing.
