Kyle should be up there. When this year is over the 3 skill kids at BW will all be very near most of the passing/receiving/rushing/TD records at BW.

Hergott was really good and so was Wilmhoff. Wilmhoff was one of the more physical quarterbacks that I can remember playing anywhere in NKY.

There were two Wulfecks.

 

Brad Wulfeck graduated in 1993 and he was an absolute stud.

 

Their backfield was amazing back then.

I don't know who the best is, but 74 / 4 TD to INT ratio is simply ridiculous. Congrats to Kyle, what an amazing career!!

Who was the QB on the 95 team? Was there a Wisher or something along those lines? He, in my opinion was the best but that was based on only seeing him in the 95 title game. Fieger, while a good QB, has never shown me that he is elite but again I only watched him in person against Mayfield where he struggled at times. I did see him on film several times.

I thought Matt Rigdon was solid.

He is good, but best ever? That's going to be hard, Hergott, Wilmhoff, Whitton, Wera were all very good, just to name a few.

The Good 'Ol Days

I have seen every Beechwood QB play since 1984. Stats are great, but the game has changed since '84. Most teams just lined up and pounded the fball. Hergott is the best QB to ever play at Beechwood. There have been QB's go thru there that could do some really nice things, but Hergott could do it all.
