October 8, 201510 yr Even Jesse Jackson thinks the same Obama Failed Blacks With High Unemployment Rate, Racial Justice Plan, Jesse Jackson Says
October 8, 201510 yr So if he does so much bad for blacks, why do they support him? I mean is it because he is black? I thought Both Bush's were awful and thy are white and I didn't vote for them.
October 8, 201510 yr I have never seen more hatred for a sitting president. Regardless if you agree with his political stance he is still the US President and people should respect that. I have had some of my own friends say things along the lines of wishing he would die etc.. With social media the hatred for some one is perpetrated so much easier today. It also allows for allot more political propaganda to be spread at a rapid pace. Honestly I love my country but I'm truely embarrassed by some of the people in it.
October 8, 201510 yr I trust nothing Fox News puts out. If I want to watch unslanted news about American politics. I watch international news. The bbc is far more accurate and balanced than any American news source any more
October 8, 201510 yr Its really a shame at all that people look at Obama and say he's a "black President." He is President. Period. Leave labels out of it, and this country will begin to move forward.

Bush was hated just as much as Obama. The things the left called Bush are just as bad if not worse than what the right calls Obama.

Let's not act like any one side dominates this. The hate for GW equaled what Obama gets. I had friends in college who said vicious things about Bush.
October 8, 201510 yr Dr Carson and President Obama are black in skin color but not black in politics. There's a difference. It's why Rupert Murdoch said yesterday that Dr Carson is a "real black President" candidate. He's as right wing as any of the R candidates which is comfortable to many on the right. Like Republicans say a candidate like Sen McCain is a RINO I think many blacks believe Dr Carson is a BINO. This whole concept that blacks have to be a certain way politically has really hurt blacks IMO. Why should ANY politician give flying leap about what black folks think? If you are a democrat, 90+% will vote for you no matter what. If you are a republican, 90+% will vote against you no matter what. So all democrats have to do is give the black population some lip service and they get their vote. The last 7 years have been brutal economically more for blacks than any other group of Americans. But in 2016, Hillary or Joe or Bernie (does not matter) will get 90% of the vote. It's funny that you never hear that white people should vote a certain way or they are not white enough. If I was black I would be insulted if someone told me I was not black enough because of my political leanings...
October 9, 201510 yr Let's not act like any one side dominates this. The hate for GW equaled what Obama gets. I had friends in college who said vicious things about Bush. I have friends who have on several occasions said that they would gladly - let's just say - prematurely end the President's term. I have learned more combinations and permutations of the "n" word than I care to remember. Rather than get into a heated debate, I just shake my head and say, "Deal". They are carrying, after all.
October 9, 201510 yr ^ Never seen this level of vitriol for a president - sitting or otherwise - since I was old enough to remember (born in DDE, can remember JFK). Not even remotely close. And I'm not even considering social media. This is live conversation.

October 9, 201510 yr Seven years? So things were okay for them eight years ago? Did I say that...umm...no. I was just saying that since Obama has gotten in, times have been really bad for blacks economically. I did not opine either way as to before he came in. They certainly have not improved the last seven years.

I did not opine either way as to before he came in. They certainly have not improved the last seven years. Are you sure? I thought that unemployment numbers had improved.
October 9, 201510 yr Middle to late 1960's. Had there been social media then, the entire country may have blown up. That could cover all of the last 100 years.
