Yes, President Bush received a ton of hatred from the left. The hatred was driven off of policy decisions. Many based it off their belief that he was sending American soldiers to die for a needless war.

 

With President Obama he's hated not for his politics, but for his skin color, a misguided belief that he's Muslim, which is due to his name and skin color, and an asinine belief that he's not even American. With President Obama it goes beyond politics, it's a hate based on prejudices.

Another amusing thing I see on this site and out in the real world is when the topic of atheism comes up. I've seen multiple liberals on this site muse and out in public that they believe obama is really an atheist and not a Christian and just have to act to get elected.

 

I find it amusing when a Republican doesn't believe Obama is Christian he is racist , but when a liberal says the same thing just so Obama fits in his perfect picture of who he wants him to be no one on the left call them out.

 

For the record I take Obama at his word on his religion. It's none of my business.

Here's a key difference between the "hatred" of Bush and Obama. You can find all sorts of nasty things said about either of them by fringe players, but the leading candidate for the GOP nomination and about 1/4 of the party doesn't even believe Obama is the legitimate president. And that's just one topic. How many in the mainstream think he's a Muslim and thus a terrorist sympathizer? I don't remember mainstream politicains, candidates, or commentators talking about Bush in those egregious terms.

 

The leading candidate for the Democratic nomination is the one that started that entire thing to begin with...and most of her Democratic followers at the time were on board with her and thought the same way during the primaries 8 years ago.

I've never once seen anyone on this site claim President Obama is atheist. I have seen numerous people hundreds of times in the past 8 years claim he's a Muslim though.

AND YES, if you all could only believe this. I actually didnt think nothing bad about the man or think he was a Muslim and I really thought he would be a great leader and help America. I didnt care that he was black or even had a Muslim name.

But the more he did his own policy and UN TRANSPARENT ways, the more I figured out he is nothing but a con man.

He has done nothing to make America safer and only put us into debt more than ever. He is allowing more and more immigrants come into America unchecked bringing disease, need for welfare, etc. Who knows who these illegal immigrants are, they may be with ISIS, we will never know because we dont arrest or deport them.

Thats not what I was referring him to, I used that as a way to say that any Christian wouldnt stand for their preacher saying GD in church. I would not attend a church with a preacher who taught hate and used Gods name in vain. He is one the false teachers.
