I believe the school should have announced something to keep the rumor mill from churning. A principal being escorted from the premises warrants some type of communication. Clearly, some things have been agreed upon or his name has been cleared with his return to school. I am glad for both Mr. Raleigh and BCHS students.

 

I have never met Mr. Raleigh so I can't speak myself for his character. Never a complaint from my BCHS graduate or current student there.

 

I agree I should not have posted the above based on the student body rumor mill. Innocent until proven guilty....

I have no idea what the issue is/was but I have heard things aren't very peachy at BCHS as of late. I have a cousin who has been a teacher there for years and loved teaching there but chose to go to Ryle this year and the reasoning was she said the politics at BCHS were getting out of hand and would rather get away from the homemade drama.

As far as substance, no, it has been very hush hush.

 

As far as punishment, it is my understanding he is on double secret probation.

The hush hush is a problem all in itself I would think. I have family members who attend the school and will see what I can find out. Now I know if something like this was to happen in Newport school as we all know it has you can call a meeting and demand it be made public. Any thoughts? It helped the Newport parent's get answers several times. Just a thought?

If it is still under investigation, it does not have to be public.

Actually if it involves a child yes it does. And also he would not be back if it was STILL under investigation. The school board has to tell IF ASKED was he removed from services with or without pay.
