All I will say is tomorrow night SK final gets to shut up the Highlands fans that think they are better than every one else!!! I hope SK wins 81 to 0!!! Absolutely the answer I expected from you, but I was not addressing it to you. Nice comment that you think bothers me because my son plays defense right? The toddler behavior fits you so well. Offense numbers are pretty good?

Now to those that would like to really discuss the stats. Take a good hard look at those stats and see if you notice anything that pretty much sticks out like a sore thumb if you follow Highlands football.

Passing game for years, we've always been able to run the ball to keep teams more than honest. Kendall, who is an awesomely talented back, only having less that 400 yards rushing speaks volumes. Past years #1 RBs at HHS had that in 2 games.

 

With that said, I think it would benefit everyone, especially Herrgot for the run game to improve; blocking backs, jet plays, Etc.Shorten the game, keep the defense off the field. Thoughts?

I really hope you're right, but we've heard the same thing last week leading up to the game and it was still the same ole same ole.

SK will have to leave their starters in to beat Highlands 80 to nothing, is that what the coaches goals are? I don't believe so. The 80 to 0 score came about because SK's 1st team players could not beat the 2nd and 3rd team of Highlands. Grin and bare it, that's the FACT!!

Tons of lopsided games between my Neers and Highlands during my lifetime. The worst was 1997, HHS 76-0. In 1998 SK really came on down the stretch and gave one of the all time bests on of the highest games all season. HHS won 26-12. That was the last time they played.

That was my senior year. They were good, the game was really close and muddy the whole time. it was at SK they had a great OLine and they had Nevels and Morrison at RBs. I believe SK beat Cov Cath that year. Hard to believe I played in the last SK vs H game.

 

in 1997 I was a benchwarmer and im pretty sure the starters showered at halftime. the running up was done by the Highlands bench. Dale always got accused of running up scores... when the starters were in street clothes. He always said should I put in the 2s and tell them to play poorly? I remember from 97 to 98 there was SK uniform change too. They went from like a reverse Penn State look (plain blue helmet white stripe) to what they have today.
