Have a strange feeling that this SK/Highlands match up will be closer than some people think.

Interested to see if some of the stuff that I am hearing actually comes to fruition or if this is just another week of tinkering without going all in. Not sure if any of it happens this week or if the work is being done for the latter half of the season when the games really matter the most.

I understanding keeping things on the down low until the games really count. However, wouldn't SK be a good team to have a full test run to see if the potential changes work before they get to the games that count?

You are preaching to the choir there my friend. Have had chances the last 2 weeks to do the same and while there has been a little dibbling and dabbling here and there, not much has really been used from what I have been able to see. I myself would certainly do it this week and then take the open week to perfect the stuff that I feel I still may be able to use and perhaps work on the less successful stuff some more or throw it on the scrap heap.

One area SK cannot match up to in this game is the kicking game, Highlands kid is a stud! May be mvp of this team, at least he's the most impressive so far!

Time to find your best 15-16 football players and have them play every offensive and defensive snap. Use the balance of the roster for special teams and injuries. If that means Hergott's 6'4" 225 frame is patrolling the defensive backfield at safety or playing some defensive end, so be it. If that means 3 or 4 linemen are going both ways, ok.

You think they will get close enough to even try a FG? I'm expecting that they may have to go to the 2nd or 3rd team punter in the second half due to exhaustion.
