It will be ugly on here if Highlands happens to pull off the win. And I will enjoy it. :lol2:

 

It is going down regardless of the result.

SK 35 - Highlands 28, although this could go south for the Birds in a big hurry, I believe they are going to show great resolve and strength of character in keeping this close.

When Highlands is down, it brings out everybody to pile on.

A lot of pinned up emotion is these areas. It's kinda fun to watch and listen to actually. I knew it was bad and HHS was hated, but I guess I didn't realize it was this bad! Funny stuff...especially for a team that is really two divisions lower and has zero impact on their success in their division. Why all the hate??? :lol2:

A TD and XP amount of predictions for this "titanic-struggle":

 

1. SK will win the game Friday night by 2-3 TD'S, Highlands will keep it close for longer than some people expect.

2. Within 24 hours of the game ending, the game thread will be closed, and multiple suspensions will have been handed out on here by Guru and the rest of the moderators.

3. Before one of said suspensions are imposed we'll never hear the end of how this one game and what takes place in it erases over half a century of football prominince and now makes said program meaningless.

4. One programs fans will remind everyone how great they have been for over half a century and then get upset, a justified upset, when someone calls that ancient history. That will get real ugly and childish by the end of it.

5. Waking up on Saturday and scrolling through the game thread, that will be either shut down or getting close will be funnier than the Saturday morning cartoons we all watched as children.

6. The game will mean absolutely nothing to either teams chances and hopes of winning a state championship, which neither team will do.

7. The game will mean abxolutely nothing to either teams chances to get to Bowling Green and play in the state championship game, which neither team will do as well.

 

It's a football game ladies and gentlemen. It's two very good programs. It's one thing to root for your schools and communities, and no need to take it farther than that. Good luck to both teams, it's the game NKY has wanted for years, enjoy it.

Because there are folks that win with grace and humility and there are those that don't!

 

This bird squad is paying for the past however many years of fans who didn't win with grace and humility...

As a supporter of HHS' biggest rival I can tell you I do not recall much in the way of Birds fans being anything like you mention.

This game, if the Birds can pull out a win, could be the turning point in the season. Here's hoping!

A lot of NKY teams feel like FTH could have shown some mercy in the past and did not. Whether it's right or wrong, a lot of people are enjoying seeing the mighty fall......even if it's just a few games against some really good teams.

What is alot of NKY teams definition of mercy? Do you tell your 2nd or 3rd string players to not score if given the opportunity?

 

I used to tell my girls in grade school soccer that they had to pass the ball at least 6 times before attempting to score when we were so many points ahead. Is that what you want the coaches to tell these young men?

I think you know what I mean. I don't have a problem with it. I believe if you don't want to get embarrassed you had better play defense till the horn. Others are not so happy to see the ball in the air in the 4th quarter up 30.
