Not bragging, just answering the question as it was written. I didn't misunderstand or misread. For any personal achiements they are hollow because we didn't win a championship. I'm not saying you don't have good kids. It just appears that the program got lazy and the kids that are playing now went along for the ride instead of working to get better. I see a lot of skinny hips and legs not strong stout players. The time to fix that was two to three years ago. Looks like the culture changed. I'm on the outside so I may be wrong but the results look like that's the case. Hard work and precision got those trophies. Not entitlement and privilege.

What an idiotic post. The majority of HS football programs are not "lazy". Especially HHS...No kid in the HHS program is "along for the ride". It's simply a matter of genetics and DNA. HHS is simply in a period where the "studs" are no longer. Your double see's "a lot of skinny hips and legs..." because that's the road of life. How dare you disrespect children or parents that you don't know nor will ever know. I'll bet you HHS works harder now, in the weight room and on the field, than the vast majority of the teams that they play. But when you lack the studs of the past, you still come up short. Every kid on the past HHS teams up to now, even if they are entitled and privileged, leave that off the field and simply show up w/ respect and play ball.

You are correct about one thing...hard work and precision will bring back the title(s)...in due time.

SK wins a close one. Maybe just one score.

Highlands is like 1-4. They are far far from a .500 ball team. But with that being said. Sk has every right to kick the fire out of highlands. Do any of u know how many beatings sk took an a lot of teams took from highlands. Everyone needs to get there's. Good for sk. 50-14. Hope they enjoy every second of it !!!!

SK will win but Im pulling for the birds. Wow can't believe I just said that.

Not just you RCC9 heres people outside of FT Thomas see. You are not the king anymore. You can't say that you're the king when you're losing. You had your time in the front, now get back in line. How do you know you'll be back to the top. Hope? Maybe, but you don't know that. Maybe the other programs have developed past you. You're pinnacle may have past. Assuming that you are the king and going to continue to be is why your program is down.

The kids probably feel entitled to be champions. We're highlands, we don't have to lift hard, we don't have to run more sprints, we don't need to continue to do the things that got us here. The flatulence that is spit out at every opportunity is why you are here. #scit kinda of crap is why you are here. Having goals is one thing. Having unreasonable expectations is another. You're titles have made you great, also made you soft due to the arrogance. Now you have a giant target on your back. Down or not in your opinion, the NKY community that you thought you were to good to continue to play will revel at the opportunity to beat the dog snot out of you. I said before the season that we couldn't wait to hit you in the mouth. I was told that I should be careful about what I wish for that you hit back. Well, we hit you in the mouth, stop crying and get back up or lay there and cry. Makes no difference to me. I just don't want to hear about you being a champion because your NOT.

How do I know??? Because I look at the long history, not 6 weeks of one season. Did you really just ask that question?? You can jump on the band wagon all you want, but history tells us different and anyone with any sense can see that HHS will more than likely turn it back around at some point. This year, next or maybe even the next. But we'll get back in line (as you say) but my money says we'll be back before many others will. Has Ryle ever been on top? They aren't this year. And even if they are, that would be the top of a small hill because NKy just isn't very strong this year.

And it's funny that you say "now" there is a giant target. Hahahahaha...like that just happened!!! Now that's funny. Do you realize how long that target has been there??? That's why it's so satisfying for all you that seldom beat them to be getting your licks in now. Because you haven't for a LONG time and you know down deep that you better get them in now!!

And you talk about being a champion...like you know what that's like!!! Hahaha. A king that reigns for a long time and falls ill for awhile is still the king when he gets healthy. Champion this year...guess we'll have to wait and see. But the odds are highly in my favor that they will be champion again sooner than later and way before you will be able to claim that! Sorry, but history repeats itself. It's done that for 100 years in Ft Thomas. Is it a frustrating season so far this year in the Fort...yes. Because the expectations are so high each year. In Ft Thomas, we expect to win every year. We don't sit around and "hope" we are competitive year after year. That's why we'll be back on top soon enough. Have your back and smack talk for a half a season. But what I saw assures me that even in a year as frustrating as they are having, they still aren't very far behind the pack in NKy. That's shows me where NKy is as a whole.

Bravado? What comes out of your mouth? Stepping stone, your no prize and that pride is no prize either. Yes I played HS at a very high level 4 year starter and MVP my senior year, and I played in college also. ( started as a true freshman ) Overachiever for my measurables, so I know what hard work and heart can get you. You're teams has neither. Did you get a ring while sitting the bench? Did it make you special to lord over everyone else? Bravado, you're full of bravado dude. I tell it how it is and call it like I see it. Don't need your permission to do so either.

He played and contributed highly on a HHS team that was top 20 in the nation. Try again!

There is no way. Didn't SK lose to NCC in 2008 also? I could be wrong but thought I read mexi state that earlier.

You keep talking about how great SK was in that timeframe yet they have nothing to support your talk.

37 NCC- 15 SK in 2008

Yeah, SK would have been handled easily. Today is a different story. As much as I want to go through the screen and put him in a sleeper hold he has supported his team through thick and thin. I respect him for that.

If Highlands wins if I'm Ukfan I quit the board. If SK wins if I'm a highlands fan I block UKfan.

Chicken kicker, its obvious that you are oblivious to the fact that you just don't show up and play hard. You have to win in the offseason. You win in the weight room, run, lift, preparation. The games show who outworked who the most. How do you explain the lack of athletes. Some are born, most are made, and then HHS just got most of their's from somewhere else. How you like them apples.

Sounds like a Ryle fan who is happy they are no longer the NKY laughing stock.

Our kids worked hard to get where they are. It was work to get them from being a doorstop. Welcome to the door. This is about HHS not us. Quit bringing us into it. Can't help but TRYING to insult us to heal your wounds? Won't work. We are discussing why SK is going to win by 50. They outworked you for the past three years!

I will remember this post in December.

SK will not be playing football in Dec. Scott Co is going to save them from a embarrassing loss.

Everybody can work hard in the weight room. You get bigger if you lift that's not genetics, that's work. Genetics can make you super fast, work can make you faster, genetics can make you taller. So what your saying is that even though they worked hard, they are a bunch of scrawny shrimps and no amount of work would have changed that?

You act like you have the first clue about what HHS does in the offseason. Well you don't and for you to "assume" you know anything about what HHS does in the offseason...well just makes you look silly. If it's just that easy to lift, workout and gain weight, why isn't everyone that works their tail of just huge??? I've been working out for about 25 years and I never get any bigger. I stay right around that same size. My frame is what it is. Since you say their hips are small and they are scawny, doesn't have a lot to do with how hard you work out. I busted my tail in high school and played 3 sports and could never gain a pound. I ate constantly. I burned it off faster than I could put it on. Weight gain has a lot to do with metabolism. But I would think you would know that. When you see this group with no shirts on, I can tell you that you wouldn't think this group doesn't work their tails off. They just don't have the frames or the metabolism to keep the weight in. They are a small group.

But how dare you insult their work ethic!! That's just ridiculous. I coach at the school and I can assure you that there is not a program in the state that works harder. Heck, just a couple years ago, Urban Meyer stopped by and watched HHS workout. He said he's never seen a high work out program like HHS. I'll give you one guess who ran the fitness and and conditioning then. Good guess, you're right. It was BW.

Please don't pretend to talk about stuff that you have absolutely no clue about. And quit insulting the kids. They are just a smaller than normal group.

AND another thing that you obviously have no clue about is HHS is NEVER big. They had a few stout years in a row when a couple big classes came through, but for most of their history, they are not big. That's not how they win. For years teams have walked out of games saying how did we just lose to all those little guys! It will happen again soon too. Matter of time.

You get funnier and funnier and reach further and further. It's 6 games. How many games has HHS played in the last 100 years??? It's a split second in time. And you want to make it "the norm". Pretty comical.

You are obviously still fairly new to this area. Long time folks know what's gonna happen because they've seen this before. Where was HHS before they went on this long 10 year run. The "run" had to start somewhere or it wouldn't be considerd a "run". You want to run a sprint when most know tradition and champions are running a marathon. We've all seen your type and have heard this for years!! You're not saying anything we haven't heard EVERY time HHS has a down year.
