SK is Boone of the mid 90s right now. Good enough to beat NKY but not Louisville.

 

You must be new to KY no one from northern KY will beat the 6A Louisville teams.

I agree the only difference is Boone scored points in the state games. I think SK is more like last years Dixie team.

We are prepared to play the game and if it is a beating that's fine. But if it's not...oh my!

 

It's one game and one loss. After what's going on this year, do you think HHS fans are concerned about a beating from SK?? We've been beat by everyone! We have bigger fish to fry this year and more to be concerned about. Our "program" will survive and we will get back at some point. What's actually comical is that in half a season, people are ready to say the dynasty is over and the king has been dethroned! Ha ha ha...it's inevitable that small schools will have some down years every once in awhile. It just doesn't happen very often at HHS. So it's funny all this talk about HHS and how bad they are. I get it, take your shots when you can because that opportunity doesn't come around very often. But history (and a long history) tells us they will be back on top in time.

 

And what is also funny to me...is a team that has a school twice the size of HHS and uses Trinity as an example of being too big to beat all the time...is soooo excited about this game against a very mediocre HHS. With the size of SK and the "hyped" up program, shouldn't this be a "beat down" (as you call it) every year???? Why should HHS ever be able to compete with SK?? I know...a little sacasim there...but think about that.

 

At the end of the day...you and all the other hater fans can have your year of beating the king. Have fun with it. I know you've been waiting for a long time! BUT the question is...will you still be around when the king rises again to take the throne!?!?!?! It's only a matter of time. Have your fun while you can!

 

Not just you RCC9 heres people outside of FT Thomas see. You are not the king anymore. You can't say that you're the king when you're losing. You had your time in the front, now get back in line. How do you know you'll be back to the top. Hope? Maybe, but you don't know that. Maybe the other programs have developed past you. You're pinnacle may have past. Assuming that you are the king and going to continue to be is why your program is down.

The kids probably feel entitled to be champions. We're highlands, we don't have to lift hard, we don't have to run more sprints, we don't need to continue to do the things that got us here. The flatulence that is spit out at every opportunity is why you are here. #scit kinda of crap is why you are here. Having goals is one thing. Having unreasonable expectations is another. You're titles have made you great, also made you soft due to the arrogance. Now you have a giant target on your back. Down or not in your opinion, the NKY community that you thought you were to good to continue to play will revel at the opportunity to beat the dog snot out of you. I said before the season that we couldn't wait to hit you in the mouth. I was told that I should be careful about what I wish for that you hit back. Well, we hit you in the mouth, stop crying and get back up or lay there and cry. Makes no difference to me. I just don't want to hear about you being a champion because your NOT.

Not to the ones who really know high school football. BG almost beat a Trinity team that was on their 4th string QB. Had they won it wouldn't have been the same.

 

Best line I've seen this football season concerning Highlands was something like this....."better beat the bully now because he will get back up."

 

SK plays Highlands anytime from 2000-2014 and they get beat. They picked a great time to get the contract signed. Timing is everything. It's OBVIOUS Highlands is down this year. Beating Highlands looks good on paper this year but for those who follow along this season of Bluebird football is a shoulder shrug.

 

From 2008 to bow Highlands would lose this game every but 2012.

Sounds like a lot of pent up anger and frustration to me. Seems like Highlands was the big prize for you this year, but at the end of the day that game really means nothing now does it?

Yes I played HS at a very high level 4 year starter and MVP my senior year, and I played in college also. ( started as a true freshman ) Overachiever for my measurables, so I know what hard work and heart can get you. You're teams has neither. Did you get a ring while sitting the bench? Did it make you special to lord over everyone else? Bravado, you're full of bravado dude. I tell it how it is and call it like I see it. Don't need your permission to do so either.

There is no way. Didn't SK lose to NCC in 2008 also? I could be wrong but thought I read mexi state that earlier.

Everybody and their grandparents are hoping for a HHS win against SK except for the SK fans themselves.

That sounds odd because in years past it would be the other way around. Sad how one person can make another teams fanbase for this game bust at the seams with outside BlueBird fans.
