I would be pleasantly surprised if the Birds made this close at all. I would be interested if UKfan#1 would think this is the best all time SK team or if the Miles Simpson team was. This is the worst start for H season since 1939 (that's before WW2 for you UKfan#1) So I think SK timed up playing the birds pretty good. probably 1/50 chance that SK lines up a better team than H on any random year.

 

You better print you t-shirts and get it all in now. Highlands wont be down for long and SK wont be this up for long. The overall record for SK vs H is 25-1. Guess who has the 25. You'll make some big headway getting it to 25-2 this year congrats.

I just hope Marksberry remembers a halloween night back in the early 2000's when Mueller hung about 70 on SK, and repays the favor

You've been doing the wrong kind of workout if your goal is to get bigger. Come work out with me. I have the perfect routine for you. Start with 4-6 sets of 16 ounce curls. Then move down in weight and go to 12 ouncers until you can't do anymore. You'll get bigger in no time. Promise.

so next year is not going to be a step down? isn't this senior year riddled with 3 year starters including QB. SK was a joke when I played (90s) they have gotten significantly better in the past 10 years. This year they are undoubtedly one of the top 2 in NKY (Ryle being the other). I think they take Ryle in a barnburner...There is one more hump they have to get over (state). That big school last hump is pretty big though. a lot of big hogmollies there in T, Male and such. How many boys does SK high school enroll?

I don't know.... offend the 'Birds and get some score up in the locker room all offseason. we are talking about 1 bad year here. The program is still intact. The freshman team is dominating. "Lets tic off the bluebirds, they will never be good again" it would actually probably be a good thing for the program next year.... they would probably hit the weight room harder than the day after the mud bowl.

Also one more thing... how much of SK, Ryle and other local program's success do you think has some Highlands DNA in it? over the past 4-5 years ive noticed a lot of similarities in youth leagues to fort Thomas's 50 year system. Ryle used to play HHS twice a season to gain experience... Think any of the Highlands tradition has rubbed off in all these years? Or at least teams getting tired of getting the tar kicked out of them? NCCs early 2000s success was a direct result of Jared Lorenzen teaching Schneider how run an offense in the all star game. Now the tables have turned for the time being...

If you get excited about Raceland beating a crappy Johnson Central team then by all means enjoy it. I prefer the teams I root for to rack up quality wins not paper championships.

Nah, no low blow at all. You just missed the point of my post. We all know the only way Raceland beats Johnson Central is if Johnson Central is as down as Highlands is this year. I was actually being complimentary of Johnson Central if you followed the full conversation between myself and Ram.

I don't feel sorry for Highlands one bit! They are about to get crushed next Friday!!!!

Sk will dominate this game and Highlands will go further come playoff time.

Good luck to Highlands this Friday, and I wish both squads an injury-free game.

 

I would love to see both HHS and SK go on to have very successful postseasons this year.

To anyone to say Highlands is down they over 80 kids on their roster. That is disrespect to the kids on that roster!!! Their is plenty of good football players on that roster.
