Ryle 52 Campbell County 7

So union has less than the other areas and has to support 2 6A HS. Talk about thinning the talent pool.

No. Take 126,413 subtract the Walton Verona district and divide by 4. You are looking at a minimum of 26,000 people per high school.

Never let facts get in the way of your argument....awesome.....and Ryle still doesn't have a State Championship ring...however, that "other school" in Campbell County does have a few :sssh:

Does anybody have any thing more to say about the actual game? You know...the game this thread is about?

So in this estimate with there being about 1 in every 12 people out of the 26,000 being in high school there is only around 450 students in each Boone County school. Nice job Jethro.

Sure, in a nut shell Ryle = GOOD CC= BAD

OH, we're playing this game now. That's why CC is going to have to split into another high school in the next couple of years, but if you want to play the WHOLE county game, have at it friend, again what ever helps you sleep at night. Again the MOST Seniors on it's team in NKY last season, 0-5 right now, there are major problems in Alexandra my friend.

If you mean the factual information game versus the made up information game. Then yes.

All public schools have cycles in their sports programs. It is just a fact of life. If they do not show that cycle I will be willing to bet that the coach of that particular sport has been there for quite sometime and is considered to be a good to great coach with a lot of respect from his peers. Private schools are a different story. Should have much less of a down swing than public ones do. You all are comparing apples to oranges in this arguement. Just think if Campbell had all the students from Dayton, Highlands, Bellevue, Newport, and even Silver grove to choose from. Wow now look at that talent pool over the years.

Just like in Boone you can say "what if" Cooper and Ryle were still one school, or go back further and just say they all went to just Boone County. Look at that talent pool. Didn't even mention Conner yet! You can subject yourselves to all the speculation in the world you want. Coaches and school have the talent they get when the players show up for day 1 of practice! Sometimes they have Players who can get it done sometimes they do not!

What exactly was Ryles excuse the last several years for not being any good? They had a ton of players on their teams. That smaller school right down the road from Ryle beat them twice in the last 3 years. What exactly is your point anyway? Are you saying if a school has more students then they should be good at football? What has Ryle's excuse been?

They are trying to compete with CC Wrestling Program! They are preoccupied :lol2:

They want some of those State Championship Banners on their walls too!

It's time to close this thread. I understand how many SK posters feel about representative pot-stirrers. It gets old. I'm glad the players on the Ryle team are taking success in stride and with humility.

Let me know when Cooper gets annexed by Union.

Raiderrailbird, if we are basing it on state championships....Conner stands up, grabs the mic and just drops it without saying a word!

Cooper is in Union.

Yeap, and all the others I mentioned are on the same stage, except poor CC, who is outside the ball room, looking through the window wishing they could be part of this elite club, of State Championship games played in. :thumb:
