I have never seen UK football win a game against Florida, I think this is my year. Well their year, depending on how you look at it.

I'm sure Hatcher can't wait to get on the field and crack some skulls. He's #2 behind Johnson on the depth chart, but I believe he will get plenty of pt against Florida's young oline.

The cats will have to win this one in the air, so the qb play will have to be consistent to pull it off. But I thought Towles looked improved against S. Carolina. On defense the Cats will have to find a way to stop the run.

I'll take Kentucky 38-35 after MacGinnis kicks a game winning field goal with -1 seconds left on the clock.

Nice. :lol2:

It's weird to see so much optimism from UK fans before a UK-UF football game. I wish I could share that sentiment, but the Gators are a monkey on UK's back.

The Cats should've ended the streak last year in Gainesville. I think UK is the better team, but if they play as poorly in the second half this Saturday as they have the previous two, Florida will leave Lexington with their winning streak intact. Kentucky needs to get that killer instinct and keep their feet on the pedal until the clock hits zero in the fourth quarter.

I'll take Florida by 10, but hopefully it goes the other way.

When I think of this game I think of one thing. This is UK's only shot at getting Bowl eligible. If they lose they won't win 6 games, they have to win this one. This is a bigger game than just beating Florida in the big picture.

Way too early to make that proclamation.

We don't know how good Auburn is yet.

We don't know how good UL is. They don't even have a permanent QB yet.

I completely disagree. I'd take a win over Florida over a 6-6 bowl game. I've seen a few of those bowl games in my days, but I've never seen the win over Florida.

Bowl eligibilty aside, this is the game that would truly validate:eyeonyou: the commitment by the University to become competitive in football! Wins against the South Carolinas and Floridas will only perpetuate fan interest and lend credibility to UK recruiters. More importantly this keeps you in the thick of the SEC east race which is sorta weird to say!

Penalties killed UK's offense in the second half against half, not necessarily a lack of execution or "trying not lose" play calling.

UF offense is terrible, not saying UK's defense is great, but if they can make some stops like they did last week they will be in good shape.

Don't give up a special teams TD and UK should be in good shape to beat UF b

Stoops will get his 100k bonus for this win, dude is gonna be pumped Saturday.

I'd take a win over Florida over a 6-6 bowl game.

Hopefully the team doesn't share those sentiments.

Hopefully all they're focused on right now is Florida.

Sorry, I am a huge Florida fan, honestly, well followed because I love Urban Meyer honestly. Go Buckeyes! But anyways, I've followed Florida still... this isn't the same Florida..................

Kentucky goes to 3-0 (2-0), breaks the streak.
