But can't you submit for a work permit even if you can't refuse?? And either way, none of it changes the fact that it looks like he really screwed up this time.

I would never take any sort of test IF i were pulled over and had been drinking, you're an idiot if you do so. Why would I willingly give the police evidence against myself.

Once they take you for the blood test refuse to sign the hospital release for them to do it. :idunno: Maybe things have changed and I don't plan to ever be in that position but that's what I've heard.

Same here. I've heard it's an admission of guilt, but I seem to recall also being told most lawyers can get it plead down to reckless driving if it's a 1st time thing and they don't have a blood test.

August 19, 201511 yr Probably a smart decision on his part... Agreed. If you know that you are drunk, refuse any type of test including a blood test. You're going to loose your driving privileges regardless, but in most cases refusing will mean 4 weeks instead of 2. Some may dispute this, but a couple of years ago I was in a car that had Cunningham on and he had two of the top prosecuting attorneys in Ohio, both said that they can't prosecute if they have no evidence or admission of guilt, and not giving them evidence is the best way to get off. But in Zeke's case he had already took the field sobriety and BAC test, as well as other issues when he got pulled over.

August 19, 201511 yr Jail is a good start. Then this boy needs sent far away from mom and dad and broke via hard work an respect. This may sound harsh to many posters on bgp but this kid needs to be seriously broke down. Then and only then can he begin to climb back into society. Running to the next college willing to take a chance on him is simply not the answer.
