August 20, 201511 yr Jail is a good start. Then this boy needs sent far away from mom and dad and broke via hard work an respect. This may sound harsh to many posters on bgp but this kid needs to be seriously broke down. Then and only then can he begin to climb back into society. Running to the next college willing to take a chance on him is simply not the answer. The Army set my butt straight. I don't think this is a military fix though.

August 20, 201511 yr If all systems are a go. He can't get high in jail, he can't get drunk in jail. But he can do alot of thinking. It's certainly better than what he has been doing. The bolded might be true in jails like "the rock" in Mayberry, or some of the county jails. In the state prisons or pens, it's all available if you have the cash or other sought after things to trade. The only things prisoners have to do is pump weights, get tattoos(which is not allowed in prison, but it happens) and figure out how to get drugs smuggled in. You can add make shanks and learn how to fight. Heck, they make booze in their jail cells, on a regular basis. I hope it's not too late to have a good productive life for him. He needs help and I hope he gets it. Seriously, I wish the best to Zeke.
August 25, 201511 yr Ssw an artilce on the new Camp. Co jail they are talking about building. 2/3 of the inmates are users or in on herion related charges. Easily that much, my wife was on the grand jury for 3 months in the spring and she said 90% of the cases she heard were heroin related. The other 10% was sex abuse with children which made me sick. The cases I heard would make your head spin and they are right here in Campbell Co which makes it even worse imo.

August 26, 201511 yr Spoken like a true Jail Bird LOL I've never seen the inside of a jail (knock on wood). Seriously I haven't, but I do read a lot of books and watch a lot of shows about it. Recently I've gotten into the WWII books and films. The history channel is awesome.
