August 11, 201511 yr Fight was over Smith not showing for a camp the other guy set up. Told people Smith was coming. Bought him a plane ticket. Smith had a family issue. Dude wanted his money for the plane ticket. I'm going out on a limb here. Dude ain't getting his money.
August 11, 201511 yr I've said I wouldn't join the fight, but I would do what I had to do to get said friend out of the situation. Bottom line, IMO fighting accomplishes nothing. It's just a result of people wanting to act all big and bad and tough. Only time fighting should ever be acceptable is to protect family from physical harm. That's what I recall. While I don't agree I do get it . My wife would tell me the same thing. My point is that if you're familiar with the culture and environment then you cannot be surprised that putting a finger in someone's face is going to lead to a visit to Knuckle Junction.

August 11, 201511 yr Author Agreed. And who really knows who said what or did what? PP92 is correct however. You have to be smarter than that. Was he asking for it? Perhaps, but there's just an unwritten rule about those guys. Might turn out to be a blessing for the JETS because I think he's the worst in the league. But that's just my opinion. I stopped reading after I saw "PP92 is correct however."

Deplored the idea of even being close to fighting. Big Mike basically said that training camp fights happen every day and nothing comes of them. They interviewed a linebacker (can't remember who). Big Mike asked something like "If your QB gets in your face are you going to fight him"? The answer was, "Yes. What kind of question is that". Prophetic. Cannot wait to watch tomorrow to get Greeny's reaction...
