Little Mike was all worked up because Cam Newton got in harm's way. Deplored the idea of even being close to fighting. Big Mike basically said that training camp fights happen every day and nothing comes of them.

 

They interviewed a linebacker (can't remember who). Big Mike asked something like "If your QB gets in your face are you going to fight him"? The answer was, "Yes. What kind of question is that".

 

Prophetic.

And this sure got Cam Newton off of page 1 in a hurry.

Fight was over Smith not showing for a camp the other guy set up. Told people Smith was coming. Bought him a plane ticket. Smith had a family issue. Dude wanted his money for the plane ticket.
