Kentucky received 1 vote.

I'm as optimistic as they come regarding UK's season this fall, but that's just crazy.

As much as I dislike tOSU and Urban Meyer (FSU fan), they are without a doubt the best team in the country. I do not know Ohio State's schedule, so if someone could help me out with this question. Does OSU play Michigan State this season and if they do where is the game at. If they play at MSU, I could see that being a game that Ohio State could lose. Outside of that, I do not think they even have an opportunity to lose.

I don't think FSU should be ranked at 8, especially with the loss of Cook at RB. I think they will struggle a little bit without him. I am interested to see if Maguire or Golson gets the starting nod at QB this year. Without Cook at RB, I would like to see Golson as it gives them another running threat in the backfield and he has proven he can throw the ball around.

Many seem to have way more faith then I do in my Irish. # 11? Really? I think way overrated. Hope I'm wrong!

I don't. Ran all over LSU and defense had 22 guys start over the course of the year and I think 20 are back. Bring back CB Russell who is regarded one of the best in the country.

I mention the LSU game b/c I think you'll see them play that style this year. O-Line that is big and physical, 3-4 good RB's and a QB who can run. They also have some talent at WR so you can't cheat too much to stop the run.

I loathe Ohio State, but I don't think I could justify any other team at pre-season #1 .

I think you could make a case for TCU at #1 if you were in a debating mood, but I'd have also cast my vote for the Buckeyes. The biggest challenge for the Bucks may end up being the amount of studs on the roster as it relates to the amount of snaps available. A great problem to have, to be sure.

The most hated team in BGP history at the top, that won't sit well on here.

You think too highly of your boys...no one has paid attention to them for 2 decades until the last 24 months.

They are the best returning team, no more no less.

I agree, I think 8 was high WITH Cook. I still don't know how all that will play out, but best to assume they don't have him. I don't think I'd have them ahead of Clemson.

FSU will be fine with Patrick at RB, injuries at LB worry me though.

Their defense is going to be really good.

I agree with you. Probably got that ranking more on name than anything.

The Vols, Missouri and Ga. Tech are going to surprise some teams this year.

Two things. Number one, OSU deserves to be number one, they will be a disappointment to most if they don't win it all. Number two, Kentucky should have received more votes.

You know they vote for the best 25 teams, right?

That's no way to talk to the SEC champs.

Your going to be all upset when the 7th best ACC team beats your Buckeyes!
