I hope he gets his.

I'm not at all a proponent of hunting, but I understand it when the animal is used for food. What this idiot does isn't hunting.

Just sickening.

Guys like this should be given a head start, then hunted.

Obviously he has all kinds of cash to allow him to pay big bucks to hunt all over the world.

I can think of so many ways to use that kind of money to help others.

Wouldn't it be poetic justice if on one of these ambushes he does the animal managed to get to him first?

Maybe turn him loose in the wild and let the lions hunt him for a change.

Read the comment section, dude has been charged and found guilty of poaching black bear before in MN.

I brought this up in a similar thread a while back...but the article states that the African lion is on the endangered species list. If so, how can it legally be hunted at all?

yep, and Homer Bailey is a tool too.

I'm not following, but yeah if Homer Bailey goes to parks in the African Safari and lures lions off it to ambush them, yes, he's a tool as well.

Bailey hunted lions a couple offseasons ago, but I think he did it legally.

Dentist is saying that he paid the guides for a legal hunt and he had no idea this was a "Famous" lion until afterwards.

While that sounds plausible, I think his history of illegally shooting a bear and moving the carcass 40miles to a legal hunting zone and a past history of paying off sexual harassment claims would tend to paint him as a real jerk.

I don't see how anyone could shoot a lion.
