What Type Of Wallet Do You Carry?

Featured Replies

Small card holder type. I like it because it has four pockets/slots and one of them has a clear screen over it for IDs. That way I have one slot for my main cards, one slot for cash, one slot for backup card/insurance/etc, and one slot for IDs.

It's about five years old and I could use a new one, but I've never seen one comparable. Most cardholders I've seen only have two slots and I haven't seen any with the ID thing.

After seeing Watusi's post I realized I could Google "front pocket wallet with id window" and find a bunch of them. I'm an idiot.

I carried a fossil tri-fold for about 8 years before replacing it last year. I replaced it with a bifold, made by Saddleback Leather. A little pricey, but I can almost bet this will be the last wallet I ever buy. It's really thick, heavy duty leather, and it takes a few weeks for it to break in. It has a lifetime warranty, so I think it's going t be well worth the price I paid. Shop Bifold Wallet Medium| Saddleback Leather Co.

They've got several different style....large, small, medium, and a couple minimalist choices. Again, they are a little pricey, but I think they are worth the price.

That was the first thing I saw. Saddleback Leather has a pretty strong reputation, so I imagine that might be my next wallet purchase when the day comes.

Well worth it. Just be prepared to have to force things in, and for it to be very stiff for the first couple weeks. They are thick hunks of leather. Once they break in, they are very manageable. I have a wallet, business card holder, and Ipad sleeve case that I bought from them. I know the lifetime guarantee goes away if they go out of business, but I really believe I'll never need to cash it in. I can see all the stuff I've bought from them lasting forever.

Bifold. Leather.

Also use a money clip.

Not sure what kind of wallet this qualifies as, but mine is a one-fold with a see-through on the outside for your DL. Inside has slots for credit cards and other similar-sized things such as business cards. And a magnetic money clip inside that will definitely zap all hotel room and casino key cards.

Carried a Tri-fold until it fell apart. Went with a bi-fold slim design and love it.

Vera Bradley wallet. Had it for a few years now. Highly functional. And pretty. :lol2:

Just a regular (cheap) billfold. Wife got if for me for Christmas about 5 years ago from Kohl's and had a UK logo stitched on it for me. Still in really good shape, except there's never enough cash in it. :idunno:

Lately I have been carrying a front pocket wallet.

3 card pockets on one side, a clear pocket on the other side, and a larger pocket in the middle for cash.

I like it so far.

I've carried a similar wallet for years, except mine has a money clip on one side (instead of a clear window).

Front pocket.

I have a Tri-Fold. I'm notorious for using a wallet until they're old as dirt. I have three new ones that I have received over the years as gifts but still use the same one I've had for about 12 years. I suppose I hate breaking in a new one.

Tri-fold. Pretty standard. Had a billfold before. No real preference but the tri-fold with the window panel for the driver's license has been nice.
