Especially with DeMarco gone. Jerry is not going to let DeMarco leave AND let Dez sit. A July contract impasse...who cares. It will get worked out...both sides have too much on the line to let him miss games...

The NFL is the one sport where I say "anything goes" in contract negotiations. Teams will cut players in a heart beat if they aren't playing up to the contract. I don't blame players AT ALL for holding out or doing whatever they need to do to maximize their money. For the risk they take every day and the short length of the NFL career, they need to get as much as they can while they can...

I concur and Dez has earned whatever he gets. He plays hard and is a gamer.

 

I would be lying though if I said Dez still doesn't scare me that he will go off the deep end and lose his mind when you least need him to.
