July 12, 201511 yr The piece in question clearly states "opinion" at the top. I read through the article. It's only a non-issue for those of a particular political philosophy. It doesn't matter who the candidate is, the opponents will seize upon it. I can only speak for myself but Hillary Clinton would never get my vote and it has nothing to do with this.

July 12, 201511 yr I identify with neither, but dollars to donuts my guess would be that nearly 100% of Democrats will side with this article as valid, while nearly 100% or Republicans would considerer it nonsense. In today's political culture I rarely see any conclusions based on concrete rationale, while so very often it's just a matter of my political party does no wrong, while the other political party is always wrong. With this disturbing popular prevailing mindset, common ground will remain elusive, and this polarization is the primary basis for why I personally can't hang my hat on either of these established lopsided groups and their illogical self-serving approach that perpetually distracts from the establishment of sound policies that stand to serve as a benefit to all. If there's any common denominator as to what stalls progress in our country, I hesitate not to conclude that this is the ever present reason riddled by foolhardy biases. Many may feel content with their political leanings, while for me this nagging trend only serves to destroy any vestige of credibility from either side.

She still broke the rules of office by sending government emails on a personal address. Anyone who acts like this is nothing is an apologist.

I do shake my head that so many people turn a blind eye to what she has done. We as Americans just accept corruption from our politicians. When one is caught red-handed, we just say "well the other guys do it too". She was not allowed to do government stuff on her personal email. She did. When caught, if she did not have anything go hide, would have turned over the emails but she did not. She is now lying about even being subpoenaed when she clearly had been...can you imagine if a Republican would have been caught flat out lying multiple times about this issue? They would have been forced out of the race within a day or two. But the vast majority of the press want her to win so badly they cover for her. The most ironic thing is she treats that same press like dogs...roping them in at events and hardly ever taking questions from them or granting interviews to them. Yet they treat her like royalty...the whole Clinton dynamic has always fascinated me. With Bill I get it somewhat in that he has a personality that draws people in. But with Hillary? I don't know anyone who would want to spend 5 minutes with her, on either side of the aisle.
