Looks like a free night off for Frazier and Bruce. Game officially a rain out. We have had terrible baseball weather this season. To bad we don't have a retractable roof stadium.

So what happens when you buy tickets off the gametime or seatgeek app and the game gets postponed?

I'm not exactly sure but when you buy your tickets from those sites you become the owner of those seats for that game. If you have the tickets printed out my guess is that you would take them to GABP and exchange them for another game. If they are on your phone then print them out. I don't think gametime or seat geek offer refunds.

This is from the Reds website regarding tonight's rain out:

JUNE 18 GAME INFORMATION

It's official. The June 18th game vs. the Detroit Tigers has been postponed due to rain. Fans holding tickets for today's game may present their same ticket at the gate for the rescheduled game with no exchange necessary.

Tickets do not need to be exchanged today.

Please check your ticket for specific rain check instructions. Keep your ticket. It is your rain check and may be exchanged at face value for a 2015 Cincinnati Reds regular season home game (exclusions apply), subject availability. Ticket exchanges are available at Great American Ball Park throughout the regular season in advance of game day only.

If you ordered your tickets online at reds.com or over the phone through Ticketmaster you may contact Ticketmaster customer service at 1-800-745-3000 to exchange your tickets.

Please be aware that you will be required to pay the difference on an exchange if you are exchanging for a game or ticket to a higher price. If you are exchanging a ticket for lesser priced game or ticket no refund of the difference will be given.

Fans holding tickets purchased through StubHub may use their same tickets for the make-up game with no exchange necessary. Please contact StubHub for more information.

Next 3 games could have delays or be postponed according to weather reports. Might want to wait until the Twins series

Dude, you have no idea how frustrating it is for a guy like me.

I can't even begin to tell you how much money I haven't been able to earn from all these games affected by rain or the threat of rain. It's getting ridiculous and I don't think its getting better this weekend either.

I might be mistaken, but they aren't going to let you use your rain check game on a weekend or bobblehead. You'll have to use it on a Monday - Thursday game.

I'm not a bit happy with how the Reds handled the game tonight. They should have called the game a lot earlier than they did knowing what the forecast was for the night.

Yep, paid for parking and meal I wouldn't have if they'd called it off earlier

@LRCW what are your plans for the night/weekend? Staying in Cincy?

Frazier gets a day off. :lol2: :lol2:

Exactly what Dusty would have done. He had a funny way of cooling guys off!

Bruce, Frazier & Pena combined to go 11-18 last night, so of course the Reds genius leader gives all 3 of them the day off today. Pena I get, no excuse for the other two.

He learned everything else from the "toothpick". Why not this as well. Exactly what Dusty used to do. Makes you scratch your head doesn't it?

Went back home tonight because I was with a couple of buddies this evening. I will be returning tomorrow with my family, and a good friend and his two girls.
