Bruce, Frazier & Pena combined to go 11-18 last night, so of course the Reds genius leader gives all 3 of them the day off today. Pena I get, no excuse for the other two.

Bruce goes 5-6 yesterday....Pine today!

The Dusty philosophy. If you give a guy off who's in a slump...he'll sit there the entire game and be thinking about what he might be doing wrong, and this and that. End result? While it may be a physical rest, it's not much of a mental one. But, if you give a guy the day off after he's had a good game prior to that, he's much more likely to relax completely. I'd say Price may be a follower of the philosophy.

I'm pretty sure I'll be there tomorrow. What section you gonna be in?

Tired from all those bases he ran last night I guess.

Even my 12 year old daughter gets it.

I understand the philosophy, but if I went 5-6 in a game, I can't wait to get back to the ballpark the next day, no matter how late I was there the night before.

No doubt she's her daddy's girl.

Price talked about sitting Frazier in the next few games yesterday before the game. Now after a night like last night, no way in heck would I sit him today

It's even worse to sit Bruce. He's one of the streakiest hitters I can recall. He's finally got it going and you sit him?

This is why I why I walk up before the game and get a ticket to get in($7-10) and stand and move around as I want, see the game from different areas. No way am I paying over that amount to watch this lineup. This has to be Price's all time joke of a lineup.

Another meaningless HR by Frazier...

Tell the Tigers they are meaningless...
