Once again Owensboro Catholic comes up just a bit short. They have played in seveal championship games recently. All A Baseball, Basketball, and Football multiple times, but they just can't get it done. The girls softball, however, is a different story.

I would have reported the final results in the update thread but stickymitts beat me to it because a light bulb burned out in a lamp in my livingroom and I had to call Mrs. nWo, who is on her way back from Charleston, S.C., to find out where the new bulbs were!

After reading the box score I find it hard to believe O Catholic would issue an intenional walk to get to Curly in the ninth. That is not the scouting report I have read.

Wow. One out, runner on 2nd and they walk Sawyer intentionally to get to NKY's version of Pujols.

I know Owensboro is not exactly close to Ft Mitchell so maybe OC didn't know anything about Curley.
