May 30, 201511 yr Got to watch the fireworks after the game from the dugout. Pretty sweet view down there!
May 30, 201511 yr Saw a fire in this team tonight I haven't seen all year. It's a start, probably won't amount to much, but it's a start
May 30, 201511 yr Ok Price, you have made your point to Billy. Having a pitcher hitting .071 in the 8 hole is STUPID. Hamilton is struggling to be sure but do you really think the pitcher should hit ahead of a guy hitting over .200?!?! Turning over that lineup. Woo-hoo!!!!
May 30, 201511 yr It started with Cingrani hitting Harper with a pitch. Harper didn't like it & started jawing with Cingrani on his way to 1st. Once he got to 1st, Votto jumped in & uncharacteristically started talking too. They went back & forth for a while. While your description of what happened is spot on, what "started" it IMO was when Harper was called out on strikes earlier in the game and he stood at home plate for around 5-10 seconds before heading back to the dugout to let everyone know that he did not agree with the call. My guess is that ticked off the Reds so they drilled him later. No doubt in my mind that Cingrani did it on purpose. Look for a Reds player to get drilled today. If I was the Nats, I would do it. Votto may want to go the plate wearing body armor today...

May 30, 201511 yr Look for Votto or Frazier or both to take one high and tight today. One thing the Nationals are not is the Pirates(who don't retaliate for anything). Should be a fun HR Derby this year: Harper vs. Frazier

May 30, 201511 yr A - if the Nats hit Votto today, assuming it is below the shoulders, he should (and I predict will) simply trot down to 1B silently. Even Steven. Let's move on. Nothing to see here. B - If Nats hit more than 1 player, Reds have to hit someone to even it up. C - I'm OK w/ and encouraged by Cingrani plunking Harper. He's a punk that needs all of the spotlight on him. At least he doesn't try to hide it. When he got tossed a week or so ago for putting his toe in the box, everybody went crazy with the "didn't come to see the ump" line. That said, 100/100 umps thumb him for that move. Just like your 5 year olds playing 'don't cross this line in my room." If he's going to act like a 5 year old, treat him like one - send him to time out! Suspect he'll hit a couple of dingers before leaving SUN.
May 30, 201511 yr Harper scratched for tonight's game due to a sore back. Oh, then definitely Votto or Frasier gets one in the numbers tonight. And if we have a little dugout clearing shoving match, Harper will definitely be looking for Cingrani. I'll take Cingrani in that one.

May 30, 201511 yr Bottom of the inning should be interesting. Someone from Reds is likely going to get drilled.
May 30, 201511 yr Bases loaded in the 8th. Byrd hits line drive right at 2nd baseman. Cozart now up with 2 outs.
