I was informed tonight that our BGP Football Forum Friend ...." RAM" is in serious condition tonight. Fighting through two (at least) surgerys that are still in progress as I post this. There is a thread in the "break room" on this. I Thought that I would post this note in the Football Forum. Ram's Son ask me to after I mentioned it to him bc this forum is where most know RAM from, He (RAM) is a Christian, a very good personal friend and he needs prayer now. I AM INCLUDING The Note / Prayer Request -from "Little Ram" - His Son. May God Bless, comfort the "Ram" family and may he guide the surgeon's hands and minds to bring Ram through this very serious surgery / sugery's ....

"If you could, please say a prayer for my father, "Ram". Monday evening he had some pelvic pain and thought maybe he had pulled a muscle working out. Yesterday morning, the pain had progressed and had moved up toward his waist. He then thought it was just a kidney stone. Last night, he couldn't sleep and the pain was too much and it has moved up and around his side a little. He then knew what was wrong-appendix. This morning around 5, I brought him to the ER at Cabell and he was admitted for surgery. He went in and had a CT scan done and showed mild appendicitis. Surgery had been scheduled for 1. At 1, he went back to surgery and we were told it would be a one hour surgery. At 3:30, I went to the desk and asked about him and was told it had ruptured during surgery. At around 4, I was told it had ruptured and had narcosis in it and turned black and had infected part of his colon. The part of his colon had to be removed. The doctors are saying that he is bad off and is at risk for secondary infection.

If you could, please pray for my father. He is now fighting for his life. Surgery has been three hours and I was told may go on for another two hours or so"

He's meaner than necrosis of the appendix. And now that his colon has been shortened, he'll be "fuller of poop". Ugh!

As Guru stated, things look much better today .

Per: Little Ram, Ram made it through surgery last night and is now awake. Ram is in a regular room, They have left him with an open wound. They originally had planned to keep him in ICU but moved him out.

His Dr. / Surgeon said that Ram was a very lucky man to be alive.

The family wants to thank everyone for all of the thoughts and prayers.
