Is Newport Central Catholic getting a 7 Footer from out of town?

I was told that the kid will only be eligible for 1 year, if he is ruled eligible. From what I was told, it's this coming school year and that is it, if it happens. This is because of the question about his age. We had one in Cincy we were talking about just about two months ago, and it seems like this kid is almost in the same boat.

I heard that he is a good kid, and that he can defiantly help a team. Now, I follow CCH more than NCC, but I hope that the kid can get things in order and play here in NKY. I wish it would have been for CCH though, but whoever gets him, it would be nice to watch this kid develop.

How does a "shady" guardian benefit from this sort of situation? High schools don't offer finder's fees, and I can't imagine these players' home communities having any funds to subsidize the kid while he's in the U.S. I'm sure there's an explanation so I am ready for some collective BGP wisdom.

You would be surprised! I do not know this guardian so I'll assume he is just a good person trying to help out.

I agree Mexitucky he has no class, if they are so good why do they keep comming to Campbell Co. for kids.

Name one varsity CovCath player Campbell County.

The signs will come down again this year.

Waiting for that varsity name from CampCo that's playing at CovCath.....

If Parents decide they want to put one in their yard, why would you feel that you can take them down? I'll tell you what - if you took one down from my yard, I would prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law, and that is only if you survived the gunshot for trespassing, or the bites from my dogs.

Wow your jealousy of Cov Cath amazes me....

I suspect this falls under the open enrollment signs that sprout at various communities around NKY each year.....you know, with "open enrollment" at all Diocesean schools and all....

It doesn't stop with CCH.

It is so easy to get them going Mexitucky. Yes the signs at every stop sign in Wilder put them in Ft Thomas see how that works out for you.

I was told that it wasnt covcath that denied him but rather he chose newcath. I heard he didnt think there was enough diversity at covcath and didnt feel comfortable.
