And somewhere in the bullpen Contreras sits and wait for it to be "his time".

Not his "role"...

Brewers bunted perfectly twice in a row and got both runners on base. Reds have not bunted twice all year in important situations. Warm someone up!

Not his "role"...

How could I forget?

These clowns aren't good enough to have any defined roles. You just bring one in and pray.

Why did Price let Lorenzen hit in the bottom of the 5th with no outs, then not let him pitch the 6th? I understand not pitching the 6th, he had over 100 pitches, but why not pinch hit, especially with no outs. It is like giving an out away in a tight game, which the Reds are really good at.

Because he was probably better than any option off the bench at the time since the Reds are still playing a man short.

I just......I just have no words at this point......gosh awful

Let's take a minute to assess the Reds bullpen ERAs...

Hoover: 5.19

Diaz: 9.72

Badenhop: 15.43

Gregg: 9.00

Cingrani: 1.42

Chapman: 0.00

At what point is it time to make changes Walt?

Turn out the lights, the party is over.

That could be about as bad of an inning I have watched. 2 bunts singles, hit batter, and BOOM. Good job Jumbo, you seved up a JUMBO hit

There is no way Hoover, Gregg, Badenhop, or Diaz board the plane to Atlanta if I'm Walt. Release every last one of these clowns. Bring up Villarreal, LeCure, Smith, and Iglesias.

Learned that from the toothpick. Don't waste a pinch hitter in the 5th.
