Brewers @ Reds series (4/27 - 4/29/15)

Lorenzen looks a lot better since mixing in his off speed stuff. Has a nice array of pitches as long as he can throw them for strikes. He's nothing like Cingrani, he's thrown more breaking balls and off speed pitches already in 3 innings than Cingrani would throw in a handful or starts.

That change-up looks pretty good. Throw the changeup at the knees consistently and you can build everything off of that.

What is it with the Reds bats in day games? They NEVER make the pitcher work. It's always swing at the 1st couple pitches.

7 pitch inning for Garza. Solid work by the middle of the Reds lineup.

Agreed. He has great arm action and movement on that change. I like the looping breaking ball he's thrown a couple times as well, nice to mix that in every now and then.

Lorenzen worked the best at bat of the game so far which actually doesn't surprise me at all but still. That swing on his single to right was a thing of beauty.

Wiggled off the hook there but has obviously graduated from the Cingrani school of pitch efficiency.

Phillips....:banghead:

That's 2 games in a row. Last night it was Frazier. This team's baseball IQ has to be the lowest in all of baseball.

Great job hustling to second on the tag and then he gets doubled off on the infield line drive.

Little League Base running continues!

Lorenzen hasn't pitched poorly, but man, they are tattooing the ball against him.

Welcome to pitching at BGP Mr. Lorenzon.

Seriously, he needs to locate better. The only well located pitch that got hit was the one Ramirez pulled.
