Any luck finding your morels?

Went out this evening (Boone County) and found nothing. Anyone having any luck?

Found about 30 or so today. All within about a 25 yard radius in one area.

Kids help find them. They will take them up the road and sell them to a lady that sells at a farmers type market. Rest we will eat. Probably sauté in butter with a little seasoning. Have had them deep fried in a light batter before.

If it's sunny on Monday morning I might try to ride up to Bernheim to see if I can find any while hiking. Would love to have a few of these suckers alongside a big, bloody ribeye.

Mercer County.

 

We have 18 acres, mostly woods, little stream runs through.

 

I'm real adamant about using mesh bags to spread spores while I'm walking around.

 

I also rince my mushrooms in clean fresh water to release spores then go out and pour that in different areas around the woods to help spread more spores.

 

Bottom pic is about 2 1/2 pounds.
