Baseball around KY starts middle/towards the end of March.....Other states start their baseball and softball season's Mid-to-late February. Should Kentucky start the baseball/softball seasons earlier than what they do?

Why or Why Not?

No.

You have to be early on an April Fools Day joke.

Great time to play but you have football, golf, and soccer.

If anything the season should start a week or two later. The beginning of,the season every year has more games cancelled it seems than played due to weather and field conditions.

I have heard a lot of people who would love to flip baseball and football.

Zero chance.

No. Right now teams battle to get outside because of cold and snow. That will only get worse if the season is moved up.

What other states start sooner? Florida, Georgia, Arizona?

No. My home state doesn't start until March 1st, with the first games played the last week in March/first week in April. The season starts too soon here.

Its impossible in Kentucky with the weather. If we did, we would see an increase in injuries for sure. Those other states you mention are south of us. Yes, colleges from my start in late Feb, but they travel south to Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. Even then, those are some toughweather games.
