Serious question:

Do UK fans expect every team they play to not have confidence that they can beat them? That's just crazy! I expect that Louisville have that confidence, if they can get that Far.

And I have seen similar "don't play hard" comments on this board, by UK fans, in some of the game threads this year. It's not like WVU pulled that out of their butt.

Some of you are acting like the comment was completely out of left field, and it wasn't from what I read here during the season.

I personally can see a difference between having confidence and the mouthing off involved in brash confidence. However, after seeing the results I hope every single team UK faces shows the same "confidence" as WVU, loud and long.

I gave my compliments and then bolted, I like to keep my account un-suspended.

Good move. I would be worried about tonight because Shane Battier said last night that Duke will win.:idunno:

Looking back on the game, I am impressed with how UK handled the WVU pressure. They executed almost perfectly against a press that had caused problems for so many of WVU's opponents.

Well, that is the consequence of rooting ND, and let's just say, I dislike this particular ND fan far more than I dislike any UK fan, so yeah...I'm rooting for KY on Saturday. :D

Excellent application of the reverse-jinx. Well-played.

I don't know if I like the thought of that or not. :lol2:

This is a bold move, but we discussed it beforehand, and RM was willing to take one for the team here. :sssh:

I was almost embarrassed for WVU when they pressed. They were running in circles the whole time

If that were to happen, and UofL somehow pulled off the massive upset, I would be banned from this site for life. Guaranteed. :lol2:

I'd unfollow you on Twitter for sure haha!

What are you talking about, it's already unreadable. It can't get much worse than it's been all season.

Were you one of the members that said the new site update was hard on the eyes? I have no trouble reading this forum lol.

I would not be offended. And it would be warranted.

No, but that is funny. :lol2:

So saying the other team doesn't play hard is a statement of confidence? Or is it a statement of ignorance?

The uproar was started because of the 36-1 comment. Most didn't care what he said after that.

Disagree. I haven't seen a single person that cared that he said they were going to win. It was the "they don't play hard" comment that people took exception to.

So...just to be clear:

It's OK if UK FANS say it.

It's not OK if anyone other than a UK fan says it.

Got it....

Did the 5 GPA Booster players get in the game at all?
