Final from Rupp.

Heck of a way to wrap up the 1st round.

Parker Adams is player of the game. He led Calloway County with 31 points. Connor Wagner added 13 for the Lakers.

Camron Justice scores 39 points & grabs 9 boards in his final high school game. Evan Hall gets 10 points & 7 rebounds.

Congrats to the Lakers and all those western ky teams..great first round

A great game to watch. I kept thinking the Lakers would give up their lead and falter but they held strong. Christ on made one he'll of a pass with 4 seconds left. The last Knott possessions was insane.

I'm sure Knott Central fans will be along soon to criticize the officiating.

Really impressed with Calloway County.

.....

Taylor Co and KCC bounced in round 1.....you could knock me over with a feather.

Awesome game! Congrats to Calloway.

Like my NCAA pick this game did the same to my Sweet 16 bracket. Congrats to Calloway Co.!

‏Former UK football player Grayson Smith:

@graysonsmith50 @awireman The officiating was at best negligent and frankly wreaked of other things. Will @KHSAA hold these men accountable?

Where is PurplePride92 when you need him... According to his theory, these wins in the State tournament don't amount to much in regards to the Top 25 rankings in the State. If that is the case, why do we even have a State Tourney?

Knott overrated?

KCC needed to get the other 3 players involved on the offensive end somewhere in the game.

KCC would really struggle to speed up a guard strong team.

The best team clearly one. Well coached and very well executed game plan

I'm not following you, but PP92 is a good friend, so if you're taking a shot at him leave me out of it. If I'm misunderstanding you, sorry for my directness.

I really thought KCC would be playing on Saturday night.

How many times has a Mr. Basketball fouled out of a game in the State Tourney? Not to mention on a "flop"!

Regions 1-4, 6&7 then 9 and 12. Nothing Lexington East!! Bet they won't be 5k attend the rest of this tourney!

The next thing will be move the Sweet 16 to Western Ky!! Everything else is already.

Great game from both teams!
