Quit posting his links, quit watching him on TV, quit talking about him and he will go away.

I couldn't imagine living in this community right now. I'm not sure how they can fix this.

Unfortunately...no he won't. He isn't going anywhere. He has a platform on TV and a president who for some reason, likes him.

Really? I'm doing the exact opposite to whatever extent possible allowed to me as a government official: I'm pulling everyone out. Minimum safe distance.

I would bring in the National Guard, no more gatherings, no more nothing. It would last all summer and until it got cold out. In short, I would bring in overwhelming force.

A criminal started all of this and the media, Sharpton, and our own government have poured gas on the fire.

Furthermore, the federal government can take their stats and shove them up their behind, they are wrong. The statistics don't control for offenders and therefore serve as nothing but more gas for the fire.

In short, this case shouldn't have been anything but a blip on the radar and look what we have allowed as a society and as a government. This has done and will do far more to hurt race relations in America.

Today is a sad day for sure.

Saw this yesterday...Interesting!

These ARE NOT the officers shot in Ferguson BTW.

This is just terrible for the officers, first and foremost, and the citizens of this city. The solution to this deep rooted issue will only be solved by the community itself. The "blame game" on all sides does nothing but perpetuate the problem and kick the can down the road.

We have become a society IMO that is looking to place blame and choose sides rather than get the "real" players in the game that can solve the issue.

It really shouldn't matter what Sharpton, the media, the far right, the let's lock'em all up, the blacks that feel fated, and the government say because, simply, they do not trust each other.

There are real leaders in this community that want what is best for their community, but they are really not listened to.

Yeah, we can bring the National Guard in and watch guardsmen and citizens get hurt or killed, it doesn't solve the issue. Yeah, we can pull out and just let it become a lawless town where 5% of the people are lawless and don't respect anything and let the 95% of really good citizens lose everything they worked for their whole lives be ruined (kinda the cartel syndrome in Mexico and other places).

Organizations problems and issues are almost always solved from within by those that are vested in the issues and problems. This is the only way I can see their issues which none of us on the outside know or really understand will be resolved.

What can you say anymore? It's just a crazy, crazy world. Very sad.

Those of you that still get caught up on Sharpton just need to let it go... And please don't take that as me defending him because I'm not in anyway. I think he's a clown and terrible for race relations.

My friend: "I judge how in touch people are with the black community based on how much influence they think Al Sharpton has over my thoughts".

So sad how misinformed some of these protesters are. I can't believe what a black city worker had to say on TV last night saying that the police shot their own as to incite more power for the police. Maybe he should lose his job as some have already.

Maybe Obama and Holder should get on TV and not tweet stuff and tell the protesters to stand down and that Michael Brown was not some innocent kid. Plus They should say the evidence even from the Att General found the cop innocent.

But they won't.

I would like to see all of these that were promoting the "Hands up, don't shoot", get on TV saying that it was false. Holder said it was blatantly false, but it was in some obscure internet interview.

Typical

Exactly.

Arrest made. Weapon found.

Shooter is 20.

Prosecutors say he may not have been aiming at officers.

He had an earlier argument with someone in the crowd.

After he is found guilty, I am all for a good beading or hanging.

That's crazy talk. The guy said he wasn't aiming at cops. He should be let go since he said so.

Well, since it's prosecutors (i.e., the people who are bringing the charges against him) who are saying so...
